Looking for a five-star hotel for your furry friends? Look no further, Rose Hill Pet Services can provide for all of their needs. Some weeks book up far in advance- call or email us to book your pet's stay.
Day Boarding
Drop off is as early as 7:30am and pick up as late as 6:30pm.
Not a part of our daycare program or perhaps you need to be away for the day for an appointments or special event? Locals and travelers in need of a daytime-only care can make a half or full day 'Day Boarding' reservations. If you would like us to include your dog in our playgroup pack, we can do an evaluation same day and, if appropriate, they can join in group play for an additional $13. We also offer solo play with staff for the same rate for dogs who would do best one on one.
Overnight Boarding
Drop-off/pick-up is anywhere between 7:30am -6:30pm.*
Looking for a safe, comfortable space for your pup to spend the night? We offer private kennels featuring individual outdoor areas accessed via doggy door as well as luxury suite accommodations for a more private, home-like experience. See our Tour page to view our spaces.
*Drop off before 4pm incurs a Day fee- see rates below. Pick up anytime on your pets last day free of charge.
We welcome dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles and birds of all sizes! Please read on for requirements so your pet can have the best stay possible.
We are a small facility with limited staff which enables us to accommodate many special needs. We do not, however, have the capacity to accomodate dogs that we cannot physically interact with. For the safety of our staff, please be forthright about your pet's past and present needs and behaviors.
Food: Please do not bring bowls- we have plenty here at RHPS. All food should be pre-portioned and labeled in small Ziploc bags. If your dog is here for an extended stay, we allow larger containers properly labeled with feeding instructions. If your dog receives supplements or medications you are welcome to pack them separately in their original containers.
We prefer to use our bedding, blankets and toys as we know they works well in our washer and dryer. If you would like to bring some items from home, items allowed are: a bed, blanket, and a few toys. Please label the bed with the dog’s name using a sharpie on the tag. Please be prepared for items that will not fit in our machines to go home potentially soiled.
For our canine companions the day starts promptly at 7am with breakfast and time outside. They have several opportunities for time in the yard throughout the day alternating with the playgroups and dogs requiring solo playtime. Speak with our staff about adding on group or solo-play if your pet would like more excitement in their day. After our Daycare Program friends have left for the day, dinner is served, the pups get one more chance out in the yard, we pick a good radio station for the night and everyone gets a little treat in bed at 7pm.
For our feline companions the day starts with breakfast served in bed, followed by a day full of lounging in the sun. Playtime and socialization are provided throughout the day. Dinner is served at 5pm and we say goodnight at 7pm!
Boarding is a high risk environment - our priority is keeping all dogs and cats at our facility safe. To maintain safety, we require the following vaccines:
All canine visitors must have up-to-date Rabies and Distemper vaccines. We also require the Kennel Cough vaccination administered within 6 months of their stay.
All feline visitors must have up-to-date rabies and distemper (RCP) vaccines.
Does your pet require extra care, like medications or a visit to a clinic? For an additional fee, medications can be administered and pets can brought to Kedron Valley Veterinary Clinic tentative on clinic and staff availability. We also offer In-House Care from our Doctor on call, Dr. Phillipa Richards.
Medications and Supplements must be in original containers.
Medication/Supplement administration: $3 per dose
Concierge Veterinary Visit: $50 per visit

If your pup does not sign up for activities they are rotated for potty breaks periodically throughout the day. Signing your pup up for play ensures additional time with staff or others throughout their stay.
If you think your boarding dog would enjoy and be a good fit in a playgroup setting, let us know at check in. We are happy to do an evaluation and add this service if they are a good fit.
Does your dog like to play fetch? We offer solo playtime with our staff. Ball throwing, pool/hose time in the summer, extra cuddles, frisbee etc. This is also for dogs who do not get along with others and require energetic play.
Some dogs need mental stimulation which is led us to implement our new enrichment service. We use frozen kongs filled with Hill's ID wet food for dogs with sensitive stomachs and peanut butter with treats for those without issue to distract and calm dogs during their visit.
Want to know how your dog or cat did during their stay with us? You are always welcome to ask the staff member handing your animals off at pick-up, but frequently other staff spend quality time with your kiddos and can leave more in-depth notes. Report cards are sent via Email through the Gingr system.

Thank you all so much for taking such wonderful care of Luna. ❤️
As always, RHPS is an awesome facility, with terrific people and their entire focus is on the dogs. What more could you ask for? Thank you for taking care of my girls.
Rose Hill takes the best care of my dogs. They go out of their way to create a wonderful and safe environment. My girls always come home happy, and a bit exhausted from the wonderful play.
Always fabulous care. The girls always come back very happy. I super appreciate your being able to take my beautiful girls on such short notice this time, particularly being early summer and heading into the July 4 holiday. Very much appreciated. -Gordon
My husband and I adore RHPS for boarding and grooming! After relocating to the area less than a year ago from Mississippi, all of the staff has made us and our pets feel very welcome.🥰 -Laura
Thank you for taking such great care of our Bostons!
I know Bella & Annie have only been there a week but it's been great so far! You are both wonderful and I feel confident that my girls are in safe hands. AND their pictures/video on IG literally melted my heart. And I will apologize in advance for my many calls (I'll try and keep it to a minimum :) from the road to check in on them - as I will really, really miss them. It helps tremendously knowing they are in good hands. So thank you!! -Susan
Brilliant! I couldn't imagine my pup anywhere else! He is so loved! -Meg
Cat and Paula are wonderful and they make sure your pet has a great experience. I have a young dog who is very timid and I was nervous about her first experience being kenneled. They took the time to make sure she was comfortable and introduce her to possible playmates. Knowing your dog will enjoy going to the kennel when you need to be away is a great relief. -Mary
We're so happy with the way you all treat our Big Boy Thunder! -Ines
I'm grateful knowing that Stella and King Arthur are in such good hands any time I need to leave them with Rose Hill. They always come home tired and happy! -Dana
Im always comfortable and confident that Ziggy is going to be well cared for while he's away from us -Eliza
Bader always comes back tired, but also calm. The setting, the limited number of dogs accepted, and caring staff make Rose Hill my favorite boarding a doggy day care site. Keep it up! -Gretchen
Simi had a wonderful time and your staff were so accommodating when I needed to extend our reservation so last minute! Thank you so much! -Tracie
Thank you so much for taking such good care of Nava this week. She is tired but seems content! (Oh how I wish I could hear the stories of her week at camp!) -Shari
Thank you for taking such good care of our girl! -Sue
He was so happy when I picked him up!!! And tired!!! Happy and tired!
He's always happy and excited to be there!
He is well taken care of!
Of course my dog was happy to see me after his boarding vacation. But, he was really happy and had a spring in his step. I can tell that he was well cared for!!!!
It was great for him!-Susan
Paula, Cat, and Erin are exceptional in their care for our Sadiemae. My husband and I feel very confident when we leave her that she will be loved and well cared for. We really appreciate all that you do for her and it gives us peace of mind when we are in Vermont to know that Sadie is safe and in good hands!!❤️😊😊🐶 -Sheryl
If you have to kennel your dogs, you know that good feeling you have when you are leaving them with someone who 1) actually read the info you input in advance of dropoff and 2) clearly loves and understands dogs? That's the feeling I had. The Insta pics of Bennet and Trebbio while we were away were pure bonus. The dogs looked fantastic when we picked them up.
We will definitely board with you again. Thank you very much. -Lori
Thank you for taking such good care of my Dozer!
I know I can count on you all to take good care of Dozer. ❤️ -Jane
Our little Cavapoos, Charlie and Maggie, love spending time with the other dogs at Rose Hill Pet Services, and we plan to send them there for boarding, grooming, and day care several times this summer. Paula and Cat are very friendly and professional, and are obviously well acquainted with each individual dog. We feel very fortunate to have such a good boarding option right here in Woodstock, just a half mile from our house, and it makes us happy to know that our dogs are in such good hands whenever we leave them.
-David and Rita
Great people, great place. My dog enjoys spending his time there and making new friends! -Bill
VERY HAPPY WITH OAKLEYS STAY! -Kathy
Easy drop-off/pick up, pups had a blast! -Erik
Zoe is delighted to be back in such a warm and well-run center!
She returned this morning tail wagging, eager to play, nap, and bark for no reason at all! Thank you for showing her such a good time. -Askold
We couldn't be happier with the service. We take comfort in the fact that our boy is safe and well taken care of . We wouln't go anywhere else . Cat and Paula are fantastic. -Jane
